As of August 2021, there is no maximum supply limit for Dogecoin. Initially, it was designed to have an unlimited supply with a fixed annual inflation rate of 5.26%. However, due to an update in 2014, the inflation rate reduced to a floating rate ranging between 0% and 5%. Therefore, new Dogecoins are continually generated, and there is no specific number that can be provided for the total amount of Dogecoin available.

According to the Dogecoin blockchain, as of August 2021, there are approximately 130.98 billion Dogecoins in circulation. However, the total supply of Dogecoin is uncapped, meaning there is no predetermined limit to the number of Dogecoins that can be created. Unlike Bitcoin, which has a finite supply of 21 million coins, Dogecoin continues to be mined indefinitely at a decreasing rate.
