To connect your Shopify store with Instagram, you need to go through a few steps. Here's a guide on how to do it:
- Ensure you have a Shopify store and an Instagram business account. If you don't have either, create them before proceeding further.
- Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
- Go to the "Sales Channels" section in the left-hand menu and click on the "+" button.
- From the list of available sales channels, click on "Instagram."
- Click on "Add channel" and then "Connect Account."
- Connect your Instagram account by logging in with your credentials.
- After connecting, you'll be redirected to the Instagram sales channel settings page in your Shopify admin panel.
- Set up the Instagram sales channel by completing your profile details, including your store information, contact email, and shipping details.
- Enable the tagging feature by selecting the "Enable Instagram Shopping" option. This allows you to tag products in your Instagram posts and stories.
- Click on "Save" to complete the setup process.
- On your Instagram app, go to your account settings and tap on "Shopping."
- Tap "Continue" and then select your Shopify store from the list.
- Review your details and tap "Done."
- Once approved by Instagram, you can start tagging your Shopify products in your Instagram posts and stories.
Note: It may take some time for Instagram to review and approve your account for shopping. After approval, you'll receive a notification.
That's it! Your Shopify store is now connected with Instagram, allowing you to sell products directly through the platform.
