To set up multi-currency in Shopify, follow these steps:
- Login to your Shopify admin panel.
- Go to Settings and click on "General".
- Under the "Standards and formats" section, find the "Currency" option.
- Click on "Change formatting" to adjust your currency formatting settings.
- Scroll down to the "Countries and regions" section and click on "Manage countries".
- Enable the countries or regions for which you want to offer multi-currency support.
- Once you have enabled the desired countries, scroll up and find the "Payment providers" section.
- Click on "Manage" under the payment provider you want to enable multi-currency for. Shopify Payments, for example.
- In the "Payment options" section, check the box beside "Enable multi-currency".
- Select the currencies you want to offer from the list provided. You can also set a default currency for customers visiting from countries that you haven't enabled.
- Click on "Save" to apply the changes.
Note: Enabling multi-currency will allow customers from the selected countries to view prices in their local currency during the browsing and checkout process. However, the currency conversion rates will be determined by the payment provider or third-party app you are using.
